Skye Skye is probably the most romantically celebrated island of
Scottish legend. Rich in tales of magic and bravery, it is also home to a whiskey-based
drink - Drambuie. So too are the characteristics of the fine Whiskies which come
from this region. The Inn has an outstanding assortment of these single malts,
four of which are featured here.

This single malt has a hint of peat in the nose, but is light
in the palate. It is clean tasting, with a flowery, round finish.

Talisker evinces the kind of intensity and power that whisky lovers have in mind
when they think of an island malt. A classic single malt!

This malt just about qualifies geographically as a Western Highland whisky. As
such, you may find Glengoyne has a light-to-medium body with a rounded fruitiness.
Although not yet a famous malt, it is gaining in popularity.

Oban is a single malt named after its little hometown, the capital of the Western
Highlands. This whisky does exemplify the style of the region, with its peaty
aroma, smooth body and balancing sweetness.
